HOW HAS GOD TREATED HUMANITY AND THIS MAN CALLED ABRAHAM?
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” [BIBLE-John 3:16-17]
So…how God and this man Abraham connected?
God’s LOVE has no time constraint. Long long ago in ancient times, God orchestrated the birth of Jesus Christ, son of God, through human lineage via the descendants of Abraham.
At the ripe age of 75-yrs-old, Abraham responded to God calling him to leave his ancestors’ land and moved his entire family (75+ people) to the far land of Canaan (today’s Israel). Abraham did so with trust and faith in God.
Jesus Christ
In Canaan, Abraham and his wife Sarah’s grandson Jacob was born and Jacob later was renamed by God as ISRAEL. From the tribe of Israel-Judah, many generations later, the Son of God & Savior of humanity JESUS CHRIST was born.
